Physical Therapist Assistant Needed for Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting. The ideal candidate will assist in the assessment, treatment, and program planning for patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

**Responsibilities:**

--- Provide physical therapy services to residents under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
--- Assist in the evaluation process in areas such as self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, and coordination
--- Conduct individual and group treatment as assigned by the Physical Therapist and outlined in the treatment plan
--- Assist in the selection of physical therapy techniques and media, and adapt techniques as indicated by resident performance
--- Maintain acceptable resident care ratios as determined by the Physical Therapist
--- Provide treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures, and productivity standards

**Requirements:**

--- Associates Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
--- Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A.
--- Current state licensure or license eligible
--- 0-3 years of long-term care experience
