About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cook to join our team at Patina Restaurant Group at Epcot in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food, adhering to our rigorous quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities

• Prepare food to meet our high standards, including portion sizes, quality, and presentation, while maintaining proper food temperatures and storage.
• Ensure your workstation and equipment are clean, organized, and sanitized to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a safe working environment.
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties, as well as end-of-day inventory, in accordance with our guidelines.
  Qualifications
  
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a back-of-the-house foodservice position, preferably in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes, with basic math skills to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
    Physical Requirements
    
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to 7 feet, bend, and squat, with frequent standing and walking during shifts.
    • Exposure to variable temperatures and damp environments, with occasional exposure to high noise levels.
