Job Description:

We are looking for a partner to join our Orlando, Tallahassee, or Miami offices at Kubicki Draper. We seek a Lateral Partner with at least 8 years of insurance defense experience. Must have experience litigating third-party bodily injury claims and handling extensive personal injury claims, including automobile claims, traumatic brain injuries, significant injuries to property or business, and wrongful death claims. A portable book of business is desired. Trial experience is required.Your Day-to-Day:

• Draft/review and respond to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Attend/chair hearings, depositions, mediations, and meetings with clients, as well as negotiate settlements
• Must be competent & proficient in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint & Excel
• Communicate in a highly effective manner with team members and clients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• 8+ years of insurance defense litigation experience required
• Trial experience is strongly preferred
• Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing required
• Strong legal research and excellent writing skills, as well as possess strong/persuasive oral advocacy
