• We care for you, just as we care for others.About Lakewood Regional SupportOur regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Assist with the proper operation of guest room internet connectivity
  • Assist with the operation of public space internet connectivity
  • Fix or replace non-operational equipment
  • Set up internet connectivity for groups to meet their specifications
  • Fix or replace defective hardware
  • Establish and conduct a Preventive Maintenance schedule for equipment
  • Collect a hardware inventory for comparison to our automated listSupportive Functions and Responsibilities
    • Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of all problems and/or unusual matters of significance
    • Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
    • Promotes and applies teamwork skill at all times
    • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to all guests, management and fellow employees
    • Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
    • Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
    • Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
    • Complies with hotel standard, policies and rules
    • Recycles whenever possible
    • Remains current with hotel information and changes
    • Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards
    • Agility in multi-tasking
    • Other duties as assignedQualifications
      • Detailed knowledge of software and hardware operating systems to include: Windows OS, MAC OS
      • Knowledge of network architecture and system design
      • Physical requirements running cable
      • Effective organization and communication skills
      • 2+ years in an IT trouble shooting positons
